Evil Good is an immersive true-crime documentary. Braiding together traditional documentary storytelling and cinematic dramatisations, the film propels us into a compelling story of crime and family which culminates in a shocking twist. Set against the cartel-controlled streets of Phoenix in the late 90's, Evil Good is the true story of dedicated police detective and devoted family man, Victor Escoto. Having fled the abuse of his childhood to forge a better life, Victor's world is plunged into chaos when the ghosts of his past re-emerge and threaten everything that he holds dear. Taking matters into his own hands, Victor's faith is tested when he discovers that evil lurks all too close to home and is left questioning if forgiveness comes at too high a price.
